"Grandpa Hawley passed away Weds night. The family has encouraged Aaron to stay and play Sat. Night and I think he will. Grandpa Hawley was a very supportive grandparent. His grandchildren were very active in sports in several colleges and Juco. They made it a point to get to as many games as possible. One of their Grandkids Josiah Hawley was a finalist on the NBC VOICE show last year. He was funny and had a real good knowledge of basketball. I personally met him 4 years ago when he was sitting next to us at an early game".

I am just sick that Aaron lost his grandpa. I met him at MSU when Aaron was in high school and the whole family came to watch Drake plan. I knew he had cancer. I knew it was his goal to get through this season so he could see his grandson play his final season. It just didn't happen. I spoke with Grandpa when they were up here for UNO. Same old friendly, smiling man as always. I just never dreamnt that he would go so quickly. I am SAD for Aaron and his family. Grandma and Grandpa came more often than even Aarron's parents were able to. So Sad.......![]( "Sad")
